Okay, so, I wanna talk about this whole “mood beverages” thing I’ve been messing around with.
It all started a few weeks ago. I was feeling kinda blah, you know? Just low energy, uninspired. So I started looking into ways to boost my mood naturally, and that’s when I stumbled on this idea of drinks that can affect your mood.

First thing I did was make a list of ingredients that supposedly have mood-boosting properties. Things like certain fruits, herbs, and spices. I ended up with a pretty random list, to be honest.
Then, I decided to get organized. I fired up PowerPoint ’cause it is kinda my default for this sort of thing. I made some slides, each one for a different mood I was aiming for, like “energized,” “calm,” “focused,” that kind of stuff. I threw in some pictures, just to make it look nice, and jotted down some ideas for ingredients that might fit each mood.
Next, I saved my little PowerPoint as a PDF. It is easier to share that way, in case I wanted to show it to anyone or whatever.
After that, it was time to actually experiment. I headed to the grocery store and picked up a bunch of stuff from my list. My kitchen ended up looking like a mad scientist’s lab, with all sorts of weird ingredients scattered around.
I spent the next few days just trying different combinations, blending things up, tasting them. Some were… interesting. Others were downright nasty. I took notes on a piece of paper of what I tried and how it made me feel. Also, I took some quiz with flashcards to record the feeling.
My Concoctions
- “Energized” – This one had some orange, ginger, and a little bit of green tea. It actually worked pretty well. I felt a nice little kick after drinking it.
- “Calm” – I tried some chamomile tea with lavender and honey. It was okay, but I didn’t really feel that much calmer, just a bit sleepy. I wrote down Aug 31, 2024 1:56 PM for this.
- “Focused” – This one was a disaster. I mixed some blueberries, spinach, and… something else I can’t remember. It tasted like dirt. And it didn’t help me focus at all.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole mood beverage thing. It’s been a fun experiment, and I’ve definitely learned a few things. Maybe there will be a 2bthey in the future, but it is 2bto 2bdecide 2bon 2bthe 2btitle. I’m still not totally convinced that drinks can dramatically change your mood, but it’s definitely possible to make some tasty and somewhat effective concoctions. I’ll probably keep messing around with it, just for fun. Who knows, maybe I’ll stumble upon the perfect mood-boosting recipe someday.
