Okay, so yesterday I went out to grab some drinks and ended up at this place called Damon’s Beverage in Waterville. I heard about it from a buddy who said they have a pretty big selection, and since I was in the area, I figured I’d check it out.
First off, finding the place was easy. It’s right there on 52 Front Street. I drove there, and parking wasn’t a hassle at all.
When I walked in, I noticed the place is huge! I mean, they say it’s over 13,000 square feet, and it felt like it. They have rows and rows of drinks. I started by browsing through the beer section. They had all kinds of stuff – local craft beers, imports, the usual big brands. I picked up a six-pack of a local IPA I hadn’t tried before.
- Tons of beer options
- A decent wine selection
- Pretty much any liquor you could want
What I saw
Then I moved on to the wine. Not gonna lie, I’m not a huge wine guy, but they had a pretty decent selection. Reds, whites, some sparkling stuff – you name it. I grabbed a bottle of red that looked interesting.
After that, I hit up the liquor section. This was impressive. They had everything from whiskey and vodka to rum and tequila. I was looking for a specific kind of gin, and they had it. Score!
While I was there, I heard something about a curbside pickup program they have. Apparently, you can order online, and they’ll bring your stuff out to your car. That’s pretty convenient, especially if you’re in a hurry. I might try that next time.
I paid for my stuff. The checkout process was smooth. The staff seemed friendly enough.
As I was leaving, I remembered a sign or something that mentioned they care about responsible drinking. You know, the usual “drink responsibly” message. It’s good that they promote that. And they have a redemption center as well.
Overall, it was a good experience. I found what I needed, and they had a lot more to offer. I’ll probably go back there again.
