Okay, so the other day I decided to try out this Indian place called Saffron Cuisine of India. I’d heard some good things about it, and I’m always up for trying new food, so I figured, why not? I went online to check out their menu before heading over.
I started by searching for “Saffron Cuisine of India menu” on my phone. A bunch of results popped up, including some that showed it was also known as “Desi Bites”. It looked like a casual spot with a grocery section attached, which I thought was pretty cool. The menu had all the classic Indian dishes you’d expect, like different kinds of curries, biryani, and noodles. It mentioned they focus on flavors from places like Delhi and Mumbai, which sounded promising.

Getting the Food
I drove over to the place. It wasn’t super fancy or anything, but it seemed clean and had a nice smell of spices in the air. Most of the dishes were around 10 bucks, which I thought was reasonable. I ended up ordering a couple of things that caught my eye – some kind of curry and an order of Hakka noodles.
Eating the Food
- Curry: The curry was pretty good, it had a nice level of spice and the sauce was flavorful. It reminded me of the curries I’ve had at some nicer Indian restaurants.
- Hakka Noodles: These were also tasty! They definitely didn’t skimp on the portion size, which was great. They had a good texture and were seasoned well.
After finishing my meal, I browsed around their little grocery section for a bit. They had a bunch of Indian spices, snacks, and other ingredients. I didn’t end up buying anything, but it was cool to see. I paid for my meal and left the restaurant.
Overall, I’d say my experience at Saffron Cuisine of India was pretty positive. The food was good, the prices were fair, and it was interesting to check out their grocery section. I might go back there again sometime to try some of their other dishes. I think I saw something about them having Wi-Fi on one of the websites, so maybe I’ll bring my laptop next time and work while I enjoy some more Indian food.
It was fun experience!
