Okay, so I got this idea the other day to mess around with Skittles and booze. You know, like a fun weekend project. I ended up with five piles: red, orange, yellow, green, and purple. I used some coffee filters I had lying around to help with the separation process, one for each color batch. I just poured each color group into a filter and set them aside.
Infuse the Vodka
Next, I took each pile of Skittles and dumped them into separate containers. Then, I poured the vodka over the Skittles, making sure they were all nicely covered. I gave each container a good stir and covered them up. Now, the waiting game began. I let them sit for a few hours, basically until the Skittles dissolved and the vodka took on the color of the candy. It was pretty cool to see the vodka change colors.
Mixing Cocktails

- Second Attempt: I mixed the orange Skittles vodka with a bit of Cointreau, which is an orange liqueur. Then, I poured it into a shot glass and dropped that into a glass of Red Bull. It was like a twist on the Jägerbomb. This one was interesting – the energy drink really kicked it up a notch.
- Third Attempt: I got creative and mixed the green Skittles vodka with some lemon-lime soda and a bit of lime juice. It was a refreshing, but not my favorite.
Final Thoughts
