Okay, so the other day I was racking my brain for a blog post idea, and I stumbled upon this “drinks that start with a letter” challenge. I decided to go with “E” – seemed obscure enough to be fun. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey!
Brainstorming and Initial Research
First things first, I grabbed a pen and paper (yeah, I’m old school sometimes) and started jotting down any “E” beverage that popped into my head. “Eggnog” was the obvious one, especially since the holidays are around the corner. But after that? I was drawing a blank. I got my phone and googled for some help.
The Experimentation Phase
So, with a list, now that I had to find a good drink.I decided to try and make an “Elderflower” drink:
- First step, I have to find the ingredients.
- Then I had to mix it all together, tasting as I went. It took a couple of tries to get the sweetness right.
- Finally, I poured myself a glass, added some ice, and… success! It was really refreshing.
The Final Result
In the end, I had one solid “E” drink to recommend: my homemade Elderflower. It was great to research a little bit and end up trying some new drinks.
