Oh, honey, let me tell you about this pesto langostino. It’s the food that make you wanna slap your mama, it’s so good! I got a few recipes here, yeah, that I’ve been using over the years. Simple stuff, nothin’ fancy. And don’t need you got lots money to make it. Easy to make and taste good.

Pesto Langostino, Real Good Food

This here pesto langostino, it’s somethin’ else. It is easy to make, okay? First thing, you gotta get yourself some of that langostino. I always use a good brand of pesto, I tell ya. Make things easy. The kind that looks like little lobsters. If you can’t get them fresh, then frozen will do just fine. Make sure those are thawed out real good before you start cookin’, though.

You gonna need some pesto, too. Now, you can make your own, if you’re feelin’ ambitious. But me, I just buy the jarred stuff. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that, and it saves you a heap of time. Don’t need make things hard, right? Make sure to buy the good stuff, though, the one in the glass jar. You need other stuff, garlic, butter, that kinda thing. I tell ya later.

Easy Pesto Langostino Pasta

Alright, so, first recipe. This one’s a pesto langostino pasta. Cook your pasta. Any kind’ll do, but I like them long, skinny noodles. Linguine, they call ’em. I cook them in salty water. Cook ’em till they’re, like, not crunchy, but not mushy either. While that’s goin’, you get your langostino and throw ’em in a pan with some butter. Just a little, now, don’t go crazy. Just to keep them things from sticking to each other.

Fry them langostino up for a bit, just until they turn a little pink. Then, you toss in some garlic. I like a lot, but you do however much you want. Get everything cooked together good. Cook them for a little bit, just a minute or two, till that garlic gets all fragrant. Then, you dump in your pesto. Stir it all up, get it all mixed in with those langostino. Let that heat up for a minute, and then you throw in your cooked pasta.

Toss it all together, make sure everythin’s coated real good with that pesto. And that’s it! You got yourself some pesto langostino pasta. You can sprinkle some of that Parmesan cheese on top, if you like. Makes it taste even better, I think. And some of the red pepper, too. That’s what I always do.

Langostino with Garlic and Butter

  • Langostino, of course
  • Butter, lots of it
  • Garlic, chopped up fine
  • Salt and pepper
  • Maybe a little lemon juice

This one’s even easier than the first one. You just melt a whole bunch of butter in a pan. I’m talkin’ like a stick or more. Then you throw in a whole heap of garlic. Fry it up a little bit, don’t burn it, though, the burned garlic taste not good. Then you dump in your langostino. Make sure they all thawed out and clean, get all those things out of their back.

Cook ’em up in that garlic butter, toss ’em around. They cook pretty quick, so keep an eye on ’em. Just a few minutes, till they turn pink. Don’t need cook them too long, they become like rubber. Then, you hit ’em with some salt and pepper. And if you got it, a squeeze of lemon juice. That’s it. You can eat it just like that, or you can put it over some rice or pasta. Whatever you like. This is good with bread, too. Some good bread that can soak all the juice up.

Some Other Things You Can Do with Langostino

Now, those are just two ways to cook langostino. There’s a whole bunch of other things you can do with ’em. You can make some soup, make the langostino into some soup. Use chicken water, or something, make it into some soup. That’s a real fancy way to eat ’em, folks down the way from me. I tell ya they like to eat them this way.

Or you can put ’em in a salad. Just cook ’em up like I said before, with the garlic and butter, and then throw ’em on top of some greens. You can make little langostino empanadas. They’re like little pies, filled with all sorts of things. You can mix your cooked langostino with some cheese and spices, then stuff it inside some dough and bake it. Or you can use some of the tortilla, fold them and put it into the pan. Fry them a little bit, that is good, too. That’s good eatin’, I tell ya.

Remember to Buy the Good Stuff

One thing I learned over the years, you gotta use good ingredients. Don’t be skimpin’ on the good stuff. If you use that cheap pesto, it ain’t gonna taste right. And make sure you get good langostino, too. They’re worth the extra money, I promise ya.

So there ya go. That’s how this old lady makes her pesto langostino. It ain’t fancy, but it’s good. And it’s easy, too. So next time you’re at the store, pick up some langostino and give it a try. You might just like it. I know you will love it! Use lots of butter, though. Everything is better with butter, honey.
