Okay, so yesterday I checked out this spot called Azalea Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar. I’d heard some good things about their food, so I was pretty pumped to try it out.
First off, I went online and found out what I can about this place, just in case. It seems pretty decent, and I was craving some Asian food, so I decided to give it a go.

When I got there, the place looked pretty chill, kind of what you’d expect from a decent Asian restaurant. I walked in and was greeted by the host. He was a nice guy, got me seated quickly. The menus were already on the table, which was convenient.
I started flipping through the menu, and man, they had tons of options. Everything from sushi to stir-fries, noodles, and all that good stuff. I took my sweet time deciding because, honestly, I wanted to try a bit of everything.
- Appetizer: I kicked things off with some spring rolls. They were crispy on the outside, filled with veggies and a bit of meat. Came with a dipping sauce that was both sweet and tangy. Not bad at all.
- Sushi Platter: Next up, I ordered a mixed sushi platter. It had a variety of rolls – some classic California rolls, a few spicy tuna ones, and a couple of salmon nigiri. The fish tasted fresh, and the rice was seasoned just right. I was pretty satisfied with this choice.
- Main Course: For the main dish, I went with the Kung Pao chicken. It’s a classic, and I figured it would be a good test of their skills. The chicken was tender, the peanuts added a nice crunch, and the sauce had a good kick to it. It was a bit on the spicier side, which I enjoyed.
- Dessert: I ended the meal with some mochi ice cream. They had a few flavors, and I picked green tea and mango. It was a nice, light way to finish off a pretty heavy meal.
Overall Impression
Honestly, the food at Azalea was pretty solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely tasty and satisfying. The service was good, too. My waiter was attentive, kept my water glass full, and checked in on me just the right amount of times. It seems like a place I’d go back to if I was in the mood for some reliable Asian cuisine. I’m not sure if it is related to 2B or TAP, but it doesn’t matter at all. I just want to enjoy good food. Prices were reasonable, too. I’ve paid more for worse, that’s for sure. I did not find any information about classic cuisine kitchen, so that was not a problem for me. By the way, I don’t even have a website on Squarespace, so it is not a big deal. The main purpose of this meal was just enjoying the food, not doing anything related to login or hash.
Anyway, if you’re around and looking for a decent Asian spot, Azalea is worth checking out. Just don’t expect any Michelin star stuff, and you’ll be good. It’s a solid choice for a casual dinner or lunch. I will try other options, such as Grilled Chicken Satay, next time. Maybe they offer delivery and takeout service, I need to do more research. But I will definitely come back to this restaurant to try more dishes. But it seems like there is no relationship with MAZDA, lol.
