Okay, so today I tried out this place called Tso’s Asian Cuisine. I’d heard some good things about it, and I was in the mood for some takeout, so I figured, why not?
First, I looked up their menu online. It was pretty extensive! They had all the usual suspects, like General Tso’s Chicken (obviously), Kung Pao, and various noodle dishes. They also had some interesting chef’s specials that caught my eye.

Making My Choices
It took me a while to decide, honestly. Everything looked so tempting! I ended up going with:
- Appetizer: Crab Rangoon. Because who doesn’t love crispy, cheesy goodness?
- Main Course: I went with the classic General Tso’s Chicken. I figured I had to try their namesake dish. I also added a side of vegetable lo mein.
- Extra: I added a side of white rice.
The Ordering Process
I placed my order online for pickup. The website was easy enough to navigate, nothing fancy, but it got the job done. I appreciated that they had clear descriptions and photos of most of the dishes.
I drove over to the restaurant, It was in a little strip mall, easy to find. The inside was pretty standard for a takeout place, a few tables, and a counter where you pick up your food. I just went in the cashier asked me my phone order number and gave the food.
The Food!
I got home and unpacked everything. The portions were generous! The General Tso’s Chicken was crispy, and the sauce was a good balance of sweet and spicy. The lo mein was tasty, with plenty of veggies. And the Crab Rangoon? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside.
I devoured everything pretty quickly. It definitely hit the spot. I’m the kind that will finish what is put in front of me, the portion are huge.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I had a good experience with Tso’s. It’s not going to win any awards for atmosphere, and the website is okay, but the food was solid, the portions were big, and the prices were reasonable. I’d definitely order from them again. I was so full, feel like I need to work out now.
