So, I was craving a sandwich the other day, and I thought, why not hit up Jimmy John’s? But then I remembered, a good sandwich needs a good drink to go with it, right? So, I decided to dive deep into their beverage menu and see what I could come up with.
First things first, I walked into the store and grabbed a menu. They’ve got the usual suspects – your sodas, your iced teas, and the like. But I wanted to see if they had anything special, you know, something that really stood out.

Fountain Drinks
- Coca-Cola: Classic, can’t go wrong.
- Diet Coke: For those watching their sugar.
- Sprite: A little lemon-lime action.
- Dr Pepper: My personal favorite, gotta love that unique flavor.
- Fanta Orange: Pretty standard, it’s just orange soda.
- Barq’s Root Beer: Not a big root beer guy, but it’s there.
- Minute Maid Lemonade: Refreshing, especially on a hot day.
- Hi-C Flashin’ Fruit Punch: This one brings back childhood memories.
Okay, so I tried a few of these. The Dr Pepper was a no-brainer for me – always a solid choice. I also sampled the lemonade, and it was pretty good, not too sweet, not too tart. But nothing really blew me away, to be honest.
Bottled Drinks
Next, I checked out their bottled drinks. This is where things got a little more interesting.
- Honest Tea (Half Tea & Half Lemonade): This one was pretty good. A nice balance of tea and lemonade flavors.
- Honest Tea (Honey Green Tea): Milder and more subtle than the first one.
- Honest Tea (Just Black Tea): This is my favorite among the three, as it’s unsweetened.
- Simply Lemonade: Similar to the fountain version, but maybe a tad sweeter.
- Simply Lemonade with Raspberry: Surprisingly good, the raspberry flavor really adds something.
- Dasani Bottled Water: It’s water. What more can I say?
- Capri Sun: Not a fan of it.
- Milk: It’s milk from Prairie Farms.
I ended up trying a few of these as well. The Honest Tea Half Tea & Half Lemonade was a winner – not too sweet, and the tea flavor was definitely there. The Simply Lemonade with Raspberry was also a pleasant surprise. The raspberry wasn’t overpowering, it just added a nice little twist to the classic lemonade.
So, after all that, I finally settled on the Honest Tea Half Tea & Half Lemonade. It just seemed like the best fit for my sandwich. It wasn’t too sugary, and it had a nice, refreshing flavor that didn’t clash with the food.
Overall, I’d say Jimmy John’s has a decent selection of beverages. Nothing super fancy, but enough variety to find something you like. And hey, at the end of the day, it’s all about finding that perfect drink to wash down your freaky fast sandwich, right?
