My Trip Down to Fleur Cuisine Harborside
Okay, so I heard about this spot, Fleur Cuisine Harborside, down in Rockport. People talk, you know? I figured I needed to see it for myself. So, I actually made the trip over there.
Got down to the harbor area. Found the place easy enough, right there where you’d expect it. The main thing I wanted to do first? Check out the menu. That’s always my first step. Gotta see what they’re actually cooking before anything else.
So, I went up and grabbed a menu. Think they had some sitting near the entrance. Yeah, just picked one up. Started flipping through it right there.
What I saw on the paper…
- Lots of seafood, naturally. You’re right on the water, so that makes sense.
- Saw things like chowder, lobster rolls, the usual suspects for a place like that.
- They had some other dishes too, looked like maybe some French-inspired stuff? The name “Fleur” kinda suggests that.
- Noticed the prices, took a mental note of the range.
I spent a few minutes just standing there, reading through the different sections. Didn’t talk to anyone much, just focused on understanding what they offered. It wasn’t just about seeing if they had fish, but what kind of dishes they were putting together.
The place itself had that typical harborside vibe. You could smell the salt in the air. Looked pretty straightforward inside from what I could peek. My goal wasn’t a full meal this time, though. It was purely reconnaissance. See the menu, get the feel.
So, yeah. Looked through everything they listed. Got a good sense of their offerings. Mission accomplished for that day. Just wanted to see the menu with my own eyes. That’s what I did.
