Okay, so today I decided to check out this Vietnamese place called “Lemongrass Vietnamese Cuisine.” I’d heard some good things, and honestly, I was just craving some pho. So, here’s how it all went down.
Getting There and First Impressions
First, I looked up the place online – checked the menu, saw some pictures, made sure it was open. Everything looked pretty standard. I hopped in my car and drove over. Parking was a bit of a pain, had to circle the block a couple of times, but finally found a spot.

When I walked in, the place was, like, half-full. Not dead, but not buzzing either. The decor was simple, nothing fancy, but it felt clean and welcoming. A waitress showed me to a table right away.
Ordering and Eating
I already knew I wanted pho, but I glanced at the menu anyway. They had all the usual Vietnamese dishes – spring rolls, banh mi, vermicelli bowls, you name it. I ended up ordering the pho with rare beef and a side of fresh spring rolls. Figured I’d keep it classic.
The spring rolls came out first. They were pretty good! The rice paper was nice and soft, not too chewy, and the filling was fresh – lots of veggies and shrimp. The peanut sauce was tasty, too.
- Spring Rolls: Good, fresh, tasty peanut sauce.
Then came the main event: the pho. The broth was steaming hot, which is exactly what I wanted. It smelled amazing, all those spices and herbs. I added a squeeze of lime, some bean sprouts, and a few basil leaves. Took a sip of the broth… and it was delicious! Rich, flavorful, but not too salty.
The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the rare beef was tender. I added some sriracha and hoisin sauce to give it a little extra kick. I pretty much devoured the whole bowl. No regrets.
- Pho: Excellent broth, perfectly cooked noodles, tender beef.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I had a great experience at Lemongrass. It’s not the fanciest place, but the food is solid, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. I was super full at the end. If you’re looking for some good, authentic Vietnamese food, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll probably be back for another bowl of pho soon!

I paid with my card, left a tip, and headed home. My belly happy.
