Where to Buy Ragu Simply Ingredients: Store & Price Guide

Okay, so the other day I was staring into my pantry, completely uninspired. I wanted pasta, but I was so over my usual jarred sauce routine. Then I remembered seeing this “Ragu Simply” thing advertised, boasting about its “simple ingredients.” I figured, why not? Let’s give this a shot and see if it lives up to the hype.

The Experiment Begins

First, I grabbed a jar of the Ragu Simply Traditional sauce. I also picked up some ground beef, because, well, meat sauce is a classic for a reason. I already had some onions, garlic, and basic spices at home. Good start, right?

I started by browning the ground beef in a large skillet. Once it was mostly cooked, I tossed in a diced onion and a couple of cloves of minced garlic. I let that all cook together until the onions were softened and the kitchen started smelling amazing. You know that good garlic-onion smell? Yeah, that one.

  • Brown 1 lb ground beef.
  • Add 1 diced onion and 2-3 cloves minced garlic.
  • Cook until onions are soft.

Next, I poured in the jar of Ragu Simply. I stirred everything together, added a little bit of salt, pepper, and a pinch of Italian seasoning – just my personal touch. I let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Honestly, it was pretty hands-off, which I appreciated.

The Taste Test

While the sauce was simmering, I cooked up some spaghetti. Once the pasta was ready, I ladled a generous helping of the sauce over it. Time for the moment of truth!

Honestly, it was pretty good. It had a noticeably fresher taste compared to some of the other jarred sauces I’ve used. The simple,tomato flavor, realy. You could actually taste the tomatoes, and it wasn’t overly sweet or artificial-tasting. Was it exactly like homemade? No, but it was a definite step up from the usual stuff, and it took way less time.

The Verdict

So, would I use Ragu Simply again? Yeah, I think I would. It’s a solid option for a quick and easy weeknight meal. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s tasty, convenient, and lives up to its “simple ingredients” promise. My pantry is probaly gonna have some more.
