Okay, so the other day, I was at the store, and I noticed this drink called Smirnoff Ice Grape. I’ve had Smirnoff Ice before, the regular one, but I’d never tried the grape flavor. It looked interesting, so I picked up a six-pack. Each bottle was 11.2 ounces, which is a pretty standard size.
When I got home, I popped one in the fridge to chill. After a while, I opened a bottle and took a sip. It’s definitely a malt beverage, kinda like a beer but sweeter. I think it said somewhere that it has a 4.5% or 5% alcohol content, so it’s not super strong, but you can still feel it a bit. It is made by Smirnoff, the same guys who make vodka, but this is more like a cooler.

Taste Test
- First Impression: The grape flavor was pretty strong, but not in a bad way. It was kinda like a grape soda, but with a little kick.
- After a Few Sips: The sweetness was definitely there, but it wasn’t too much. It tasted artificial, but that’s what you get from a beverage like this.
- Overall: It was pretty good! It wasn’t something I’d drink all the time, but for something different, it hit the spot.
I tried looking it up online, too. This stuff seems to be available everywhere. Like most grocery stores and liquor shops have it. It’s sold in bottles, cans, and sometimes even larger containers. There are also a bunch of other flavors too, so if you aren’t into grape, there are probably some others you might like.
I also noticed there is a regular Smirnoff Ice, and the label said that Smirnoff Ice Wild Grape is one of their best-selling versions, so I guess a lot of people like it. But if you’re not a fan of sweet drinks, or if you’re looking for something with more of a natural flavor, this probably isn’t for you. But hey, if you see it at the store and you’re feeling adventurous, give it a shot. You might like it!
The next day, I had some friends over. Some of them tried it and liked it, others didn’t. It’s definitely a “love it or hate it” kind of drink. Anyway, it was fun to try something new, and I might buy it again sometime. But for now, I think I’ll stick to my usual drinks.
